Slicer allows you to create rhythms and textures from any sound you like.
Import your sound and move the nodes. Slicer will chop your sound into 8 slices
and superpose them. The slices will be created and manipulated acording to some
variables that you can control with the control nodes (the ones represented by a square).
The grain nodes (in color) control volume and pan of each slice, while the control nodes control pitch, lenght,
shift and starting point of the whole system.
Check the Slice palette to keep track of whats going on with your slices.

SPACE BAR to switch Slicer on and off

CNTR + N - New File
CNTR + O - Open File
CNTR + I - Import Sound File
CNTR + S - Save File
CNTR + D - Save File As
CNTR + G - General palette
CNTR + R - Slice settings palette
CNTR + A - select all slices
General -
Arrow Up - Increase general Volume
Arrow Down - Decrease general Volume
"P" to toggle panning.
"M" to toggle microtones.
"X" to toggle pitch.
"S" to sample from the sound in/mic/etc.. . If Overwrite is selected the selected sound in sound palette will be overwritten, if not it will create a new sound on the menu.
Selection -
Click and drag to make selections.
SHIFT + click and drag to add new selection to the previous one.
Control + A to select all (Apple + A on Mac).
Slice Nodes -
Right Click to select --> click in a point and he selected node will jump to that point.
Click + drag to move.

Notice :
Please note that using the menus (save, save as, open, new ...) will stop the sound.
If you are in the middle of a performance you may want to use the shortcuts provided instead.
